Assistant Professor

Dr Arun Prakash is currently working as an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Pune. He is UGC NET & JRF (Junior Research Fellow) qualified. His area of specialization is Photography, Cinematography, Qualitative Research and Online Content Creation.  He has a total of four years of work experience (Three years of Industry and one year of teaching). Prior to this, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University where he was handling teaching as well as administrative responsibilities. He has also worked in the media industry in the area of Photography/ Cinematography/ Graphics Designing. He acquired his PhD degree from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in the area of “Film Studies”. He also acquired his BA (Hons.) & MA in Mass Communication degree from BHU, with a specialization in Television Radio & Films. He was part of the Indian delegation to Russia that represented India in the 2017 WFYS (World Festival for Youth & Sports), under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. He has attended various FDPs (Faculty Development Programme)/ National & International Seminars/ Conferences. He presented and published half of the dozen papers in Scopus and UGC Care listed Journals/ Book chapters. He also owns an Indian patent on the Impact of Digital and Social Media on Customer Behaviour.
