Chaitanya is a passionate media researcher and academician. He has completed his Ph.D. from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune which represents a sustainability assessment model for rural community radio. His research attempts to obtain an evaluative approach to the framework of community radio with innovative solutions. Before joining MIT-WPU, Chaitanya worked on an ICSSR-IMPRESS research project at PAH Solapur University. The project investigated the participatory approach of social media and analysed the possibility of correlation between media, culture, and society. Chaitanya has done his post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism from RTMNU, Nagpur and has qualified the NET and SET exams in the same discipline. Chaitanya has three years of teaching experience with institutions such as Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce, Pune, DY Patil International University, Akurdi and Sangameshwar College, Solapur. Since his childhood, Chaitanya has been involved in producing and presenting various radio programmes and podcasts. He holds a sharp understanding of radio production and programming. He has been a part of various research workshops, FDPs, seminars, and national and international conferences. His area of interest includes clickbait and journalism, critical cultural theory, and participatory development.
